Job Summary

After a 4–8 week onboarding and certification program, serve as a Financial Center Personal Banker focused on consultative selling. Proactively identify customers’ current and future financial needs using Financial Needs Assessment, manage risk responsibilities, and process teller transactions. Drive growth through cross-selling, lobby leadership/Bank Mart aisle time, tele-consulting, and outreach using approved marketing tools. Coordinate with business partners and guide CSRs on sales and referrals.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete onboarding and certification to perform the Retail Personal Banker I role within the Retail Personal Banker job family.
•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify needs.
•Recommend retail consumer and small business products/services and utilize CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach customers and schedule financial reviews.
•Drive cross-selling, outside sales activities, and referral relationships with assigned business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment).
•Process teller transactions and participate in the consumer loan and bankcard process from application through closing.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills (or a combination of education and experience).
•Experience in the financial industry (preferred).
•Demonstrated ability to acquire new consumer household and small business customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Demonstrated understanding of advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
•This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) at the time of employment.
