Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, coordinate and execute all factory inspections for project equipment, including long-lead items and other HV equipment.
  • •Lead FATs for high/high‑voltage equipment and ensure adherence to project schedules and quality plans.
  • •Verify supplier manufacturing plans and quality systems are followed; issue and manage NCRs to closure.
  • •Coordinate client and transmission system operator participation in FAT activities as required.
  • •Review and approve supplier documentation (test protocols, quality certificates, data sheets) and ensure proper packing and shipping of equipment from the factory.
Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

  • •More than 15 years of professional experience, with at least 10 years in inspection of high-voltage equipment at factory level.
  • •Proven FAT experience on power transformers, reactors and GIS equipment.
  • •Knowledge of IEC standards applicable to HV/EHV equipment (IEC 60076, IEC 62271, among others).
  • •Experience managing Non-Conformities (NCR) with electrical equipment suppliers.
  • •High availability for national and international travel.
