Job Summary

Maintain and improve equipment used in the manufacturing fab by performing preventative maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and installations. Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams across the fab to ensure issues are solved efficiently. Monitor and analyze tool performance data, coordinate supplier service and repairs, and produce technical reports with findings and recommended solutions.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, equipment improvements, equipment upgrades, and equipment installation.
•Interface and communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure issues are solved appropriately and efficiently.
•Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downtime.
•Monitor and analyze tool-related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address tool issues.
•Coordinate supplier service and repairs as needed and prepare technical reports with recommended solutions.

Key Requirements

•Associate's degree in a technical related field and/or equivalent Military Electronics training, or prior Technician experience in a wafer fab.
•Ability to identify and resolve issues to improve equipment performance.
•Good troubleshooting skills on electrical/mechanical systems.
•Excellent organizational, teaming, troubleshooting, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.
