Key Responsibilities

•Design and develop ISO 26262 ASIL-D and IEC 61508 SIL-3 compliant embedded firmware for mmWave radar sensors and processors.
•Implement real-time radar control firmware for configuration, calibration, and high-speed data acquisition.
•Build fault-tolerant, fail-safe firmware architectures with diagnostic coverage and safety mechanisms.
•Develop customer RF evaluation applications/tools and RF test firmware for production tests, including reusable sensor interface libraries.
•Create automated testing frameworks and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, while supporting customer integrations and safety audits with external certification bodies.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of embedded systems firmware development experience.
•Strong understanding of embedded real-time firmware programming and engineering principles.
•Proficiency with C and assembly, including compilers and linkers; experience with bare-metal firmware development.
•Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, and Lua.
•Experience with debugging embedded systems using JTAG, trace, and logic analyzer tools, plus exposure to functional safety (ISO 26262 or similar).
