Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate, underwrite, and execute new RCF Fund investment opportunities with senior investment team members.
  • •Perform detailed company, sector, and market analysis and assess investment risks across financial, commercial, tax, legal, ESG, and third-party due diligence.
  • •Build and maintain cash flow and credit models, including downside and sensitivity analyses, to evaluate risk-adjusted attractiveness and structural protections.
  • •Prepare Investment Committee memos and present deal opportunities for approval; support structuring, negotiation, and execution of financing documentation.
  • •Monitor portfolio investments post-completion, and support investor engagement and fundraising with marketing materials, portfolio analysis, and ad hoc research.

Key Requirements

  • •Relevant professional experience in leveraged finance, private credit, direct lending, acquisition finance, or a closely related field.
  • •Experience analysing leveraged or sponsor-backed businesses, ideally in the European large-cap or upper mid-market segment.
  • •Strong credit-underwriting skills, including identifying and articulating business, financial, structural, and documentation risks and mitigants.
  • •Strong financial-modelling skills, including integrated cash-flow models and downside/sensitivity analysis.
  • •Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, plus experience preparing credit papers or investment memoranda.
