Lead across multiple cross‑domain engineering teams (Cloud Platform Engineering and Security & IT) to define the architectural strategy, build and mentor leaders, own headcount and budget, and drive multi‑domain roadmaps. Operate with executive accountability to ensure reliable, scalable infrastructure and strong security/compliance posture for Fingerprint’s enterprise customers, while shaping the broader engineering organization.

Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Own outcomes across multiple teams or workstreams and be responsible for the health, delivery, and strategic direction of your full domain
•Develop other managers and senior engineers through 1:1s, succession plans, and cross‑domain initiatives to grow future leaders
•Build headcount plans proactively and present staffing proposals with rationale and timing
•Define the architectural strategy for your domain, including identifying systemic risks and making trade‑offs visible to leadership
•Mentor managers and senior ICs on complex technical trade‑offs and surface technical debt with a prioritized plan to address it

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 177,000 - 240,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Engineering management experience: 5-7+ years managing engineering teams, with at least 2 years at a scope equivalent to managing multiple teams or a cross‑domain function
•Direct ownership of performance management, career development, and hiring — not just running standups or serving as a tech lead
•Multi‑team or cross‑domain leadership: experience operating beyond a single squad and handling dependencies across teams
•Technical depth in your domain: ability to set architectural direction and evaluate complex proposals with credibility among senior engineers
•Delivery track record: concrete examples of shipped work and accountability for slippage as well as wins
