Job Summary

Visit client sites to inspect lifts, cranes, and other plant and equipment, assessing installations and ensuring compliance with relevant Lift and Crane legislation. Work closely with an Engineer Surveyor Team led by a Senior Operations Team Leader, produce examination reports via electronic reporting, and carry out hands-on inspections in demanding environments. You’ll receive induction training and work from home with regular travel across your local area.

•Visit client sites to carry out hands-on inspections of lifts, material handling equipment, cranes, and construction plant.
•Assess installations and help clients comply with relevant Lift and Crane legislation.
•Prepare examination reports using electronic reporting for fast and efficient delivery to clients.
•Plan and diarise meetings, visits, and work allocation across short, medium, and long-term schedules.
•Travel within your local allocated work area and support/deputise for fellow Engineer Surveyors when required.

Key Requirements

•NVQ Level 3 or above in a Mechanical related subject.
•Full, valid UK driving licence.

•Hands-on background working with lifts, cranes, and materials handling equipment, including manufacturing/repair/maintenance experience.
•Strong time management to self-organise your week, plus comfort using tablets and smartphones for reporting and work.
