Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain high production, quality, and yields while ensuring the safest working environment possible.
  • •Lead pre-shift and shift operations including stretching, workstation rotation, and ensuring workstations are staffed before production starts.
  • •Ensure compliance with federal meat inspection and OSHA requirements and maintain non-union program operations.
  • •Interpret and enforce company policies; maintain accurate records and reports across safety, sanitation, security, and food safety activities.
  • •Manage, evaluate, and train production supervisors; promote safety daily and conduct monthly safety meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree (B.A.) preferred or equivalent education and experience.
  • •5+ years of related manufacturing experience, with food manufacturing experience highly preferred.
  • •Essential understanding and control of the production process, including maintenance, shipping/receiving, sanitation, quality assurance, accounting, safety, and material management.
  • •Must be able to lead and supervise subordinate supervisors and production teams, including hiring, training, planning, monitoring performance, coaching, and resolving complaints.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with hourly team members, upper management, and government officials.
