Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead HV-focused design team recruitment and development in the Denver, CO area, ensuring high-quality design outputs.
  • •Provide project leadership/oversight and review HV collector station designs and studies for solar, BESS and wind facilities, conforming to client specs and codes.
  • •Coordinate, review and approve electrical infrastructure design plans for mid-level and complex projects, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations.
  • •Apply advanced electrical engineering techniques to optimize design phases from concept to operation, including procurement and construction.
  • •Develop construction plans, specs, safety and phasing plans; coordinate with owners, other disciplines, sub-consultants and clients.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • •12+ years of relevant post-education experience as an electrical engineer providing design deliverables for renewables, ideally at a utility, industrial and/or commercial scale.
  • •Professional Electrical Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
  • •Highly proficient with HV collector station design and electrical engineering principles, practices, and design/build processes.
  • •Experience mentoring staff and coordinating with adjacent disciplines (civil, P&C, SCADA, telecom) and program/construction management.
