Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, test, and support data collection, integration, and ETL applications for client stakeholders and technical interfaces
  • •Model data requirements, sources, and data flows to structure programmes of work
  • •Define how and where data is created, mastered, and destroyed to control corporate data lifecycle
  • •Use product categories to collect, integrate, store, visualise, and govern data and metadata
  • •Define metadata for search capability and governance, including records management for unstructured data

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in data engineering, analysis, or science with a solid understanding of programming languages applied in previous roles
  • •Hands-on experience with data engineering tools and ETL tools, including Python and Big Data technologies
  • •Ability to evaluate open source platforms for data engineering and recommend solutions based on customer problems
  • •Strong understanding of database concepts including unstructured and NoSQL, plus object and data modelling techniques
  • •Active eDV security clearance required before applying
