Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform assignments using standard engineering techniques to support water and wastewater treatment projects.
  • •Support preliminary and detailed engineering design under an experienced engineer, including calculations and engineering drawings (e.g., process design, mass balances, hydraulic profiles, layouts).
  • •Assist with equipment selection and coordination with suppliers and vendors, including technical reviews and comparison of alternatives.
  • •Collect, validate, and analyze technical data (e.g., flow, loading, water quality) and help interpret results to inform design.
  • •Contribute to tender/specification preparation, project documentation (memos/reports), and construction support such as submittal reviews, RFIs, shop drawings, and site inspections.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering (or related field).
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for site visits as needed.
  • •Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
  • •Eligible to apply for P.Eng. with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) within four years.
  • •Demonstrated ability to analyze technical data and prepare clear written reports.
