•Generate significant annual revenue by managing customer accounts and identifying/developing new prospects.
•Develop and execute account plans, negotiate to meet sales targets, and consider margins and revenue.
•Prepare sales presentations, call plans, proposals, and internal/external reports; provide forecasts for customer business plans/needs.
•Obtain and communicate market and competitive information, and coordinate with technical and supply chain teams to deliver value to accounts.
•Work in a customer segmentation model, collaborate with peers, and mentor/lead sales representatives in neighboring territories; travel to service the territory.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of sales experience in a territory, with a proven track record of impacting sales.
•Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Agriculture or a related Life Science.
•Experience making data-driven decisions using CRM systems.
•Strong value-selling principles and agronomics knowledge, with solid financial and business acumen.
•Ability to negotiate and make independent decisions under minimum supervision, including working with middle to senior management.
