Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare 3D models and layout general arrangements for plant upgrades and new facilities.
  • •Review vendor drawings to ensure conformity with engineering designs prior to fabrication.
  • •Prepare design calculations, design briefs, and design sketches.
  • •Conduct trade-off studies and prepare reports.
  • •Coordinate with other disciplines and maintain/revise equipment libraries, department standards, and procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
  • •8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering design with layout design experience for heavy industrial and/or mining projects.
  • •Strong understanding of mechanical equipment installation requirements in the field.
  • •Must have consulting experience.
  • •Proven experience with Plant3D, Revit, Microstation, SolidEdge, and SmartPlant.
