Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems across 12V DC to 13.8kV AC, including switchgear, transformers, and distribution panels.
  • •Diagnose and repair AC and DC motors, including motor control circuits and starters.
  • •Maintain and troubleshoot variable frequency drives (VFDs) and soft starters.
  • •Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot instrumentation such as proximity sensors, level sensors, RTDs, and pressure sensors.
  • •Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals while ensuring electrical safety compliance and lockout/tagout procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience working as an industrial or craft electrician in a heavy industrial or mining environment.
  • •Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and instrumentation across low and medium voltage applications.
