Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and ship personalization, ranking, and recommendation systems across the full ML lifecycle, including deployment and monitoring.
  • •Partner with product, data engineering, and platform teams to define technical strategy and drive execution across multiple workstreams.
  • •Lead zero-to-one development of new ML capabilities, prototyping and scaling models under data quality and regulatory constraints.
  • •Evaluate and integrate modern AI paradigms such as agentic workflows and LLM fine-tuning into existing ML systems.
  • •Raise the technical bar through architecture and code reviews and mentorship for the broader AI R&D team.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer with ML fundamentals (ranking, recommendation systems, deep learning, optimization) and production model delivery at scale.
  • •Expertise owning personalization and recommendation systems end-to-end in a high-traffic, data-rich environment (fintech, e-commerce, social, or similar).
  • •Ability to deliver zero-to-one projects by turning ambiguous, high-impact problems into production-grade solutions with measurable results.
  • •Experience with agentic systems and/or LLM fine-tuning (or related modern AI paradigms) and technical judgment on when to apply them.
  • •A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience) and strong Python coding skills with familiarity with ML infrastructure tooling.
