Job Summary

Lead pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying and Cost & Commercial Management services for complex projects. Manage and mentor a team within PMCM, contribute to bids, and represent WSP on industry engagements. Hybrid role based from Bristol with travel to sites, delivering cost planning, procurement, cost assurance and post-contract financial management for civil infrastructure and utilities projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead pre- and post-contract QS/Cost and Commercial Management for projects, including estimating, cost planning, procurement, cost assurance and post-contract financial management.
•Possibly deliver QS/commercial projects, lead a QS/commercial team, train and mentor staff, bid writing and representation at industry events.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Civil Infrastructure and Utilities and other PMCM groups.
•Travel to customer sites and project locations as required.
•Contribute to winning work and overall project delivery within the UK PMCM group.

•MRICS or Assoc RICS or working towards a professional qualification
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Ability to demonstrate applicable knowledge, ability and experience around QS/Cost and Commercial management
•Demonstrable management, project leadership and delivery experience at senior level
