Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead or manage the production of accurate and comprehensive estimates and cost plans for projects/programmes.
  • •Promote estimating good practice within Turner & Townsend.
  • •Work with Directors to construct bids for new work.
  • •Provide direction and act as a role model for less experienced staff; manage staff where appropriate.
  • •Interface with the client and other consultants across all project stages; drive new business opportunities and cross-selling; take responsibility for knowledge management.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven Estimating Management experience.
  • •Qualified to a high standard in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with proven relevant experience.
  • •Previous experience working with estimating software packages.
  • •Desirable membership of RICS / CIOB / A. Cost E.
  • •Experience working on major programmes/projects and in the Infrastructure sector (Rail, air, power, highways).
