Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with Acacia mixed-signal engineers to produce an optimized design integrating into the ASIC.
  • •Design, layout, simulate, measure, and productize ultra-deep sub-micron CMOS blocks for high-speed analog applications.
  • •Lead efforts for blocks on a complex chip, track deliverables, and participate in peer review of IC designs.
  • •Provide solid design methodology from conception through production for complex IC designs.
  • •Collaborate with packaging and hardware design teams to ensure signal and power integrity specifications are met.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelors + 6 years of related experience, or Masters + 4 years, or PhD + 1 year.
  • •Experience designing, simulating, and measuring high-speed ICs in at least two areas: high-speed serial links, output drivers, high-performance PLLs, clock transmission/propagation, opamps/PGAs, or equalization.
  • •Ability to design, layout, measure, and productize ultra-deep sub-micron-based CMOS products.
  • •Experience with design methodology spanning conception to production, including peer review participation and deliverable tracking.
