Key Responsibilities

•Own the architecture and delivery of foundational platform capabilities, including MCP tool registries, AI orchestration layers, risk-based access automation, and safe contribution models.
•Design and drive the evolution of Control Center into an AI-agent-ready, headless operations platform using MCP procedure constructs, agentic guardrails, HITL orchestration, and evaluation frameworks.
•Lead technical direction with the Engineering Manager and Product by authoring TDDs, running design reviews, decomposing initiatives into milestones, and mentoring engineers via code review.
•Build reliable, secure distributed backend services by owning SLO definitions, observability instrumentation, incident response, and operational readiness for Tier-1 systems.
•Partner across EAA, Product Engineering, and Security Engineering to deliver cross-functional outcomes and share platform primitives that reduce duplicated infrastructure.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 218,025 - 256,500 annually

Key Requirements

•8+ years of software engineering experience architecting and delivering large-scale, high-traffic distributed systems, with strong backend service design.
•Proficiency in backend service design and API development, including gRPC, MCP, GraphQL, and scalable microservices architectures.
•Hands-on cloud-native experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, event-driven architectures (Kafka, MQ), distributed caching, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
•Experience building secure, compliant internal tools or platforms with security controls, access management, audit logging, and data governance in regulated environments.
•Experience building or integrating agentic AI systems (MCP servers, LLM orchestration, RAG, HITL workflows, evaluation/guardrail frameworks) with proficiency in Go and willingness to work across Python.
