Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee and report on cover arrangements, premiums, and recoveries in coordination with the Insurance Director.
  • •Manage insurance arrangements for joint ventures made by external brokers, including monitoring and reporting.
  • •Administer insurance programs, handle claims, and ensure liability claims notification to insurers includes sufficient information.
  • •Advise management on developing, implementing, and revising insurance programs and policies, resolving financial and legal issues.
  • •Lead disciplined compliance with procedures manuals, identify procedure efficiencies, and supervise investigations of claims in line with regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8 years working experience, with 5 years relevant insurance experience (2 years GCC experience is a plus).
  • •Solid knowledge of insurance claims processing and insurance procurement, including understanding of local insurance markets.
  • •Knowledge of relevant laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, and executive orders.
  • •Experience working with a broad range of wider insurance markets, underwriters, and claims managers.
  • •ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills; ability to support risk management and insurance screening.
