Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and maintain electrical ICDs between the mission system and the co-development partner airframe, including connector pinouts, power allocations, signal definitions, and harness routing constraints.
  • •Audit the existing ICD baseline for completeness and drive to a fully co-signed revision.
  • •Design Anduril-side harness architecture, including wiring gauge, routing, connector selection, backshell, strain relief, and shield termination per applicable aerospace standards.
  • •Develop and verify power budgets across normal, peak, emergency, and ground power operational modes.

Key Requirements

  • •3–6 years in aerospace or defense electrical engineering with ICD development experience.
  • •Experience with aerospace harness design, including wiring, MIL-DTL-38999 (or equivalent) connectors, backshell, and routing practices.
  • •Ability to perform power budget analysis across complex vehicle electrical architectures.
  • •EMC planning and coordination experience per MIL-STD-461 or DO-160.
