  • •Coordinate daily production activities, priorities, and equipment deployment for the assigned shift or operational area.
  • •Monitor work practices and reinforce compliance with safety standards, procedures, and operational controls.
  • •Set clear expectations, allocate work, and coordinate activities with other supervisors, maintenance teams, and support functions.
  • •Facilitate Lean and Rio Tinto management system activities supporting continuous improvement, reliability, and performance.

Key Requirements

  • •Commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
  • •Relevant supervisory or frontline leadership experience in a mining, processing, manufacturing or other industrial environment.
  • •Practical knowledge of ore handling or materials processing operations, including safe interaction with mobile equipment.
  • •Ability to lead, coach and develop team members while building trust, accountability and collaboration.
  • •Effective communication, planning, organization and problem-solving skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office applications; a valid driver’s license and relevant tertiary qualification/trade certificate are considered an asset.
