Job Summary

Own external product storytelling for Vercel’s Agent Stack, Core Platform, and developer-facing tools like v0, Vercel Agent, and Vercel Plugin. Translate technical “ships” into narratives for developers, press, and the market, and oversee communications for Vercel’s open source portfolio (including Next.js, Nitro, and more). Partner with communications leadership, Product, DX Engineering, and Content Engineering to deliver the right context to the right audiences at the right moment.

Key Responsibilities

•Own external communications for product announcements and updates across the Agent Stack and Core Platform, plus v0, Vercel Agent, Vercel Plugin, and Domains.
•Oversee communications for Vercel’s open source portfolio, with a concentration on Next.js, keeping a voice native to developer communities.
•Build thought leadership narratives positioning how Vercel’s products fit together in the broader infrastructure and framework landscape.
•Develop owned content, social content, and campaigns in partnership with Content Engineering for both commercial and developer audiences.
•Stay close to open source community needs and partner on community programming, conferences, and activations to elevate product and OSS work.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 152,000 - 209,000 annually

Key Requirements

•6-8 years of experience in communications, PR, or product marketing, with direct exposure to developer tools, infrastructure, or technical products.
•Strong writer and storyteller who can translate technical work (product or open source) into narratives that resonate with developers and the market.
•Comfortable working directly with engineers, PMs, and technical leadership, and able to draw stories from people who don’t think of themselves as storytellers.
•Experience managing multi-channel, cross-functional programs with an instinct for what performs with developer audiences.
•Familiarity with the frontend/JavaScript ecosystem (Next.js, frameworks, runtimes, and adjacent tooling).
