Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish and govern PUMA’s apparel IE knowledge base covering SMV via GSD and motion-code methodologies and material consumption validation.
  • •Partner with IT and tier suppliers to build and maintain standardized data and motion-code libraries and ensure consistent costing standards across suppliers.
  • •Establish SMV data validation processes at T1 bases and perform regular audits for data checks and verification.
  • •Assess marker efficiencies and improve consumption efficiency using factors like fabric width usage, grain line, shrinkage, defects, nap direction, print direction, size ratio, and pattern placement.
  • •Support costing initiatives and strategic projects (e.g., ONE COSTING), including adaptation/integration of tools and evaluating factory production risks and bottlenecks.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (or equivalent) with valid GSD/GST certification.
  • •5+ years in garment manufacturing, production engineering, supplier quality, or factory process control.
  • •Deep hands-on knowledge of cutting, sewing, and finishing operations, including motion studies and time standards.
  • •Strong CAD skills to evaluate marker making, fabric utilization, and consumption efficiency.
  • •Experience conducting factory audits and implementing sustainable process improvements on the manufacturing floor.
