Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and test embedded software and systems to meet functional safety requirements for industrial safety gas and flame detection products.
  • •Design and implement new embedded features across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, implementation, and testing.
  • •Develop and execute embedded test plans (unit, integration, system), using automated testing to achieve high coverage and resolve issues based on test results.
  • •Develop and validate FPGA-based interfaces and processing blocks for high-speed sensor data capture, timing control, filtering, co-adding, and real-time signal processing workflows.
  • •Support laser driver development, FPGA/SoC bring-up, high-speed data acquisition software applications, and produce technical reports and documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Masters or Bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering with 0 to 3 years of experience in embedded system design and control systems.
  • •Proficiency in C, Python, or C++ programming for firmware development.
  • •Experience developing firmware for Cortex M3/M4 and ARM V7 using cross compilers like IAR Embedded Workbench, Eclipse, and MPLAB.
  • •Experience with wired communication protocols including SPI, I2C, WDT, and TIMER.
  • •Good knowledge of laser spectroscopy/optical sensing and FPGA-based data acquisition and high-speed ADC interfacing (VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog is an added advantage).
