Key Responsibilities

  • •Design mixed analog and digital electronic circuits for downhole drilling tools under extreme environmental conditions.
  • •Develop the full electronics design lifecycle, including requirement specification, architecture design, simulation, implementation, verification & validation, and documentation.
  • •Run SPICE simulations for circuits intended for high-temperature use environments.
  • •Support PCB layout and perform test and characterization of electronic circuits at high temperature.
  • •Develop test systems (hardware and software), qualify high-temperature electronic components, and present results in design reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience in circuit design, preferably using Siemens Xpedition and/or Altium Designer.
  • •University degree in Electrical Engineering (FH/University/TU).
  • •Practical experience designing analog and digital circuits (e.g., internships, thesis, or professional experience).
  • •Knowledge of electronic components and sensors, plus measurement and control engineering.
  • •Experience working with electronic laboratory equipment; FPGA design using HDL (VHDL or Verilog) is preferred.
