Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as an ID Card/Common Access Card (CAC) customer service specialist for Navy ICA program support at DEERS/RAPIDS sites.
  • •Act as a Verifying Official on DEERS/RAPIDS terminals, ensuring inputted data accuracy and correctness.
  • •Verify identity and eligibility of authorized DoD beneficiaries, issue DoD Identification Cards, and perform DEERS updates per DoD regulations and AFI 36-3026.
  • •Issue and strictly control Armed Forces identification and privilege cards for eligible personnel and verified contractors.
  • •Operate and maintain RAPIDS workstations, process CACs, handle customer questions/inquiries, and complete DEERS enrollment, reconciliations, PIN resets, and PKI certificate verification/updates.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent
  • •1+ years of experience in a customer service environment
  • •HR background in military pay, military personnel, travel claims, or navy transportation (or equivalent similar private/Federal Agency experience)
  • •Proficient oral and written communication to explain complex military entitlements and eligibility
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen with a favorably adjudicated Tier 3 (NACLC) security investigation
