Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage safe movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center to meet production and quality goals.
  • •Oversee day-to-day team activities; assess strengths and weaknesses and identify opportunities to improve.
  • •Coach and develop assigned team members, including feedback and performance management, and maintain a positive team environment aligned to Carvana values.
  • •Review and approve mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory; train associates to complete repairs effectively the first time.
  • •Partner with the Inspection Center General Manager to repair or reject inventory based on estimated repair cost and overall vehicle quality.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •Experience using computers.
  • •At least 18 years of age.
  • •Demonstrated functional expertise in one or more areas of Carvana’s reconditioning process, including understanding reconditioning processes and lean principles.
  • •Valid unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record in the last 3 years.
