Job Summary

Identify and develop direct suppliers in Best Cost Countries, aligning sourcing opportunities with category and business strategy while optimizing Total Cost of Ownership. Work with European/APAC stakeholders and category teams to drive cost-out initiatives and ensure on-time delivery through critical path reviews. Build and manage supplier networks, validate ethical/social compliance and quality/technical capabilities, and evaluate factory performance in support of global procurement objectives.

Key Responsibilities

•Collect market information and trends to identify Best Cost Country sourcing opportunities aligned to category and business strategy.
•Critically review sourcing opportunities using Total Cost of Ownership across manufacture, supply, and after-sales service.
•Influence changes in the supply chain with category teams to drive out costs and review critical paths to ensure on-time delivery.
•Respond to and follow up on enquiries, issues, and problems raised by buyers/customers.
•Build and maintain a vendor network in Best Cost Countries; manage new vendor selection and validate ethical/social compliance and technical/quality competences.

Key Requirements

•Degree level education, preferably in a technical discipline, with 5 years of procurement/sourcing experience.
•Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality management.
•Knowledge of building materials and the cement industry is preferred.
•Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making ability to manage sourcing projects under pressure.
•Clear communication skills with influencing and negotiation abilities; strong command of English (written and spoken).
