Key Responsibilities

  • •Collect market information and trends to identify Best Cost Country sourcing opportunities aligned to category and business strategy.
  • •Critically review sourcing opportunities using Total Cost of Ownership across manufacture, supply, and after-sales service.
  • •Influence changes in the supply chain with category teams to drive out costs and review critical paths to ensure on-time delivery.
  • •Respond to and follow up on enquiries, issues, and problems raised by buyers/customers.
  • •Build and maintain a vendor network in Best Cost Countries; manage new vendor selection and validate ethical/social compliance and technical/quality competences.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree level education, preferably in a technical discipline, with 5 years of procurement/sourcing experience.
  • •Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality management.
  • •Knowledge of building materials and the cement industry is preferred.
  • •Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making ability to manage sourcing projects under pressure.
  • •Clear communication skills with influencing and negotiation abilities; strong command of English (written and spoken).
