Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor legislative activity and communicate potential environmental impacts to management and manufacturing sites.
  • •Provide leadership and guidance on implementing Huntsman environmental policies and standards.
  • •Advise on regional legislation and support permit compliance assessment and improvement.
  • •Support environmental management, monitoring, and corporate improvement processes across EAME sites.
  • •Provide technical and policy advice on new environmental legislation and collaborate with stakeholders in the UK and the US.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., environmental science, sustainability, ecology, chemistry, biology).
  • •Knowledge of European environmental legislation, including Green Deal objectives and the Industrial Emissions Directive.
  • •Strong communication and influencing skills to work across internal and external networks.
  • •Ability to analyze and handle data, including using spreadsheets or databases for sustainability metrics.
  • •Broad knowledge of environmental issues and permitting processes.
