Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a subject matter expert for the Resilience pillar within Third Party Risk Management and strengthen third-party resilience risk management.
  • •Enhance and implement resilience risk assessment activities for third-party engagements, including defining resilience strategies and reporting.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally to identify, manage, and strengthen continuity of critical services for third-party engagements.
  • •Support quality assurance over resilience assessments and due diligence artifacts; manage sole provider third-party risk.
  • •Design and conduct joint business continuity exercises, support regulatory/internal audits, and benchmark the program for continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years’ experience in Third Party Resilience Risk Management and/or Business Continuity.
  • •Strong understanding of American Express products, services, and organizational structure.
  • •Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and solve problems with attention to critical details.
  • •Familiarity with Third Party Lifecycle Management program is preferred.
  • •Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
