  • •Manage Lab Operating Procedures (LOP) by providing direction to lab users on established policies.
  • •Coordinate and implement Environmental Health and Safety standards and uphold compliance for a safe and secure lab environment.
  • •Track, manage, and calibrate company and customer-owned property; maintain lab access lists and training matrices.
  • •Develop and implement common lab processes, tools, templates, and metrics; communicate issues and improvements to team and management.
  • •Oversee audit assessment preparation, including corrective action plans and support for engineering lab objective evaluations and assessments; safeguard classified/proprietary material, hardware, and documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience.
  • •At least 2 years of experience managing safety, compliance, and processes in an engineering or similar environment.
  • •Experience working directly with engineers, technicians, and leadership in an engineering lab environment.
  • •Mechanical and/or electrical/electronic skills.
  • •Experience with chemical handling, metrology, and property control requirements and processes (preferred).
