Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate with service leaders/project managers and customers to plan on-site installations and repairs by forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
  • •Serve as the direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing chiller equipment and systems at customer locations.
  • •Use software and hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
  • •Maintain mission-critical uptime by solving problems in a zero-downtime environment, supporting procedural documentation, and staying aware of service level agreements.
  • •Enforce safety standards, maintain security/accountability of company assets, coach less experienced technicians, and manage occasional overtime/weekend work plus overnight travel as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •5+ years of experience with commercial HVAC/chiller equipment, including systems-level knowledge.
  • •Proven experience starting up air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, including commissioning, operational verification, and post-start checks and repairs.
  • •EPA Certification required and proficiency using software to connect and check chiller operation.
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.
