Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage day-to-day LMW customs operations, including GPB application, exemption list follow-ups, and LMW/VAA license renewal and maintenance while ensuring timely customs reporting.
  • •Oversee import/export shipment facilitation in adherence to trade regulations and coordinate with brokers for efficient customer declaration operations.
  • •Support special trade modes (e.g., hand carry, temporary import, ATA Carnet) to ensure compliance with applicable trade compliance regulations and ethics policies.
  • •Support export compliance and STA processes, including order screening, hold review, and release using an automatic export screening tool.
  • •Manage interactions with local customs/MITI authorities and applicable agencies on behalf of NI, including external/internal audit handling when required.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or above.
  • •5+ years of experience in Customs and Trade Compliance in an electronic-related industry.
  • •Mastery in English and a local language.
  • •Vast knowledge of trade regulations including Customs Act 1967, LMW and SST Act, and STA Act.
  • •Working knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle.
