Key Responsibilities

  • •Unload and load bulk commodities between vessels, railcars, and storage facilities in a safe, efficient, and quality-conscious manner.
  • •Perform general terminal operations duties including cleaning, routine inspections, loading trucks with a front-end loader, weighing trucks, and manual labor tasks.
  • •Adhere to all KMT policies and procedures and work safely and efficiently at all times.
  • •Participate in daily Safety Talks and other safety functions; report all incidents and near misses.
  • •Upkeep assigned equipment or tools and arrive for scheduled shifts ready to perform assigned tasks.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED is required.
  • •Experience in an industrial setting is preferred.
  • •Previous experience operating industrial rolling equipment (such as a front-end loader or forklift) is preferred.
  • •Must meet criteria to obtain and maintain a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC).
  • •Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and demonstrate good oral and written communication skills.
