Job Summary

Hardware Technician I providing on-site IT hardware support, imaging, asset management, and end-user device deployment at the Costa Mesa HQ. Will troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals, manage RMAs, and support Jira ticket workflows within a defense technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide on-site technical assistance for software and hardware issues at Costa Mesa HQ
•Support Asset Management tasks including audits, inventory, and shipping logistics
•Handle repair, refurbishment, and e-waste processes for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
•Deploy mobile technology (cell phones, hotspots, tablets, encrypted USB drives) and image/configure endpoint hardware
•Maintain a workload of support tickets from installations to hardware troubleshooting and system upgrades

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•At least 1 year of experience with PC/Apple hardware and operating systems (Windows 10/11, macOS, Linux)
•At least 1 year of experience managing desktop incidents and providing deskside support, preferably with Jira
•Proficiency in Windows 10/11; macOS and iOS; basic Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, Nix) a plus; OS imaging is advantageous
•Enthusiastic, motivated, a good team player, dependable with outstanding customer service skills
•Ability to travel to local offices as needed; lift up to 50 pounds; eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
