Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a wetland field team lead using current USACE 1987 Manual and Regional Supplements.
  • •Operate a GPS unit to collect field data and map habitat types and sensitive resources.

Key Requirements

  • •1-3 years of experience conducting wetland delineations and stream assessments, preferably in Ohio and surrounding states.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Environmental Studies, Biology, or related field.
  • •Familiarity with USACE wetland data forms, ORAM wetland data forms, and QHEI/HHEI stream data forms.
  • •Experience with GPS field data collection and plant identification of Midwest vegetation.
  • •Proficiency with data management/organization and MS Office Suite, plus willingness to work long, physically demanding field days.
