Job Summary

Build and operate GenAI-powered data platforms and applications for enterprise use across Visa’s technology ecosystem. Partner with product, business, and cybersecurity teams to design scalable components, APIs, and data workflows that integrate with large language model providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic. Develop production-grade code, prompt workflows, orchestration patterns, and reliable data pipelines, while ensuring security, privacy, and governance best practices in distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements for AI- and data-driven features and platforms.
•Design and document scalable components supporting AI/GenAI applications, APIs, and data workflows.
•Develop high-quality, secure, and maintainable code, contributing to code reviews and taking ownership of platform services.
•Build and enhance platform capabilities integrating data, APIs, and AI models into production systems, including LLM provider integrations.
•Develop and maintain data pipelines and orchestration workflows, implementing validation, monitoring, and security/privacy/governance practices; troubleshoot distributed system issues.

Key Requirements

•2+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree (or 5+ years relevant experience).
•Strong core programming skills in Java or Python.
•Experience building and operating microservices-based architectures and APIs.
•Experience with real-time data streaming or event-driven systems, and data extraction/transformation/querying across large datasets.
•Write production-grade, secure, testable code and ensure reliability with monitoring, validation, and performance tuning in distributed systems.
