Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete product development and optimization based on customer marketing surveys/benchmarks or technical specifications.
  • •Support supplier import and development for cell top cap assembly and assist with cell terminal process development.
  • •Provide technical communication with customers, track technical development activities, and support root-cause analysis for issues during project development.
  • •Support quotation activities for new products and handle abnormal issues and improvements during assembly of structural components.
  • •Lead reliability testing and functional verification for the cell top cap assembly and stay sensitive to new technologies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • •3+ years of experience in cell mechanical development, including automotive parts development preferred.
  • •Familiarity with the top cap assembly structure and the assembly process/procedure, including cost breakdown.
  • •Experience using CATIA and UG (2D/3D) and conducting tolerance analysis, DFM/DFA, and metal forming/plastic injection processes.
  • •Familiarity with IATF16949 methods (APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP).
