Key Responsibilities

  • •Design secure-by-default systems and embed security signals into SRE observability and incident response.
  • •Harden production platforms and internal tooling including Kubernetes control planes, GitOps systems, CI/CD pipelines, and observability stacks.
  • •Drive Zero Trust adoption through workload identity, continuous verification, and micro-segmentation.
  • •Lead cross-team incident response and blameless post-mortems; convert reliability and security failures into permanent fixes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of related experience (or Master’s with 8+ years, or PhD with 5+ years).
  • •5+ years operating and scaling at least one major cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with ownership of cloud security posture (IAM, KMS/secrets, network controls, CSPM/equivalent).
  • •3+ years building production automation and tooling in Python and/or Go for security use cases (vulnerability management, secrets orchestration, compliance evidence, detection integration).
  • •5+ years applying SRE practices in production, including defining SLIs/SLOs, managing error budgets, serving as incident commander, and running post-mortems.
  • •5+ years applying security fundamentals (threat modeling, secure-by-default architecture, least privilege/workload identity, secrets/certificate lifecycle, and large-scale vulnerability management).
