Job Summary

Serve as an individual contributor and internal consultant for Avery Dennison’s financial systems, owning design, development, integration, maintenance, and enhancements. Lead small project or subproject efforts, support integration of acquired businesses, and help roll out Oracle Fusion and related bolt-ons. Translate business requirements into cost-effective solutions, create and execute test plans, maintain documentation, and provide troubleshooting while ensuring SOX and audit compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, integrate, maintain, and enhance Avery Dennison’s financial systems as a primary contributor.
•Lead small projects or subprojects and help ensure on-time delivery of solution components.
•Support financial systems integration for newly acquired businesses and facilitate integration into the Financial & support model.
•Assist with rollout of Fusion and related applications/bolt-ons, including development and enhancement activities.
•Analyze requirements, design cost-effective solutions, execute test plans, maintain documentation, and provide troubleshooting while ensuring SOX and audit compliance.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience and technical training).
•5–10 years supporting Oracle Fusion and Oracle R12 Financials modules (incidents and change requests).
•10 years of Oracle business application design, integration, installation, upgrades, and modifications; 4–5 years with Fusion AP/AR/GL/FA/Cash/Cost management (Fusion certification is a plus).
•Good understanding of financial and accounting practices, with desired cost accounting knowledge (accounting certification is a plus).
•Experience with Oracle Fusion finance modules plus SQL/SQR or query tools, eGate/MQ Series or middleware, EDI, advanced Excel/Google, and incident management tools such as ServiceNow (or similar).
