Serve customers in a Fifth Third Financial Center by using a consultative sales approach and Financial Needs Assessment to uncover needs, build thorough customer profiles, and recommend retail consumer and small business solutions. Participate in a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations and certification, process teller transactions, support platform staffing, manage risk responsibilities, and drive cross-selling while meeting customer experience and production goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions aligned to the value proposition.
•Utilize CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers, set appointments, and conduct periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to the existing customer base and engage in outside sales activities, including community financial literacy events and business sales calls.
•Process teller transactions, support platform staff, and handle consumer loan and bankcard processes from application through closing while following risk, fraud, and confidentiality policies.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry (preferred).
•Demonstrated ability to be comfortable with sales activities to acquire new customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•Ability to obtain S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
