Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee shopfloor workload and laboratory resources, coordinating with subcontractors to deliver projects on time.
  • •Manage multidisciplinary lab operations involving office engineers, mechanical/electrical workshop teams, and external stakeholders.
  • •Prepare project proposals with detailed time, cost, and resource estimations; monitor adherence to planning targets and address variances.
  • •Lead oversight of structural testing subdomains (static, fatigue, damage tolerance, stiffness, bird impact, dynamic tests) and instrumentation/calibration for in-flight load measurement.
  • •Ensure testing activities meet airworthiness regulations and internal quality processes, providing technical support to structural design/analysis and resolving structural integrity queries for manufacturing and services.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in aeronautical engineering (industrial or telecommunications engineering also accepted).
  • •Proven experience in structural testing environments within the aerospace industry.
  • •Strong knowledge of airframe and system design details with advanced CATIA V5/V6 proficiency.
  • •Deep understanding of metallic and composite material behavior and failure modes, plus laboratory instrumentation and calibration procedures.
  • •Fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory.
