Job Summary

Design the reference architecture and delivery patterns for governed data at scale, taking it from the semantic layer to dashboards, applications, and AI agents. Build a data agent with natural-language querying over governed definitions, including orchestration, tool/function calling, retrieval, evaluation, and guardrails. Co-design the semantic foundation with HoneyDew/dbt, lead design reviews, translate business needs into technical requirements, and deliver end-to-end features into production.

Key Responsibilities

•Design reference architecture and delivery patterns to deliver governed data at scale to dashboards, applications, and AI agents.
•Architect and build a Data Agent (natural-language interface) and design agentic workflows with orchestration, tool/function calling, retrieval, evaluation, and guardrails.
•Co-design the semantic layer (HoneyDew/DBT) including metrics, dimensions, and governed business meaning for analytics and AI.
•Serve as technical lead and trusted advisor by setting patterns, running design reviews, and mentoring engineers to production.
•Translate ambiguous business problems into clear technical requirements and drive end-to-end ownership even as requirements evolve.

Salary: USD 132,975 - 221,625

Key Requirements

•8+ years across data architecture and hands-on engineering for enterprise production systems.
•Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience designing and building on Snowflake and DBT.
•Experience designing and building LLM/agentic solutions (RAG, tool/function calling, orchestration) including prompt engineering, evaluation, and observability.
•Deep understanding of semantic layers as the bridge between source data and business meaning for trustworthy AI.
•Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and influence architecture decisions across teams.
