Translate real-world SOX and internal controls testing judgment into reliable, AI-assisted workflows. Partner with engineering, product, and design teams to co-develop AI agents that execute control testing, including prompt refinement, running evidence through testing workflows, and documenting failure modes. Analyze risk/control matrices and test plans to improve agentic testing, and develop stress-test scenarios with detailed performance assessment and evaluation criteria.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with engineering, product, and design teams to translate SOX testing processes into scalable product capabilities.
•Co-develop AI agents that execute detailed SOX testing by converting testing methodology into guidance, decision rules, and examples.
•Work hands-on with AI agents by writing/refining prompts, running controls and evidence through workflows, evaluating outputs, and documenting failure modes.
•Analyze risk and control matrices and test plans to identify opportunities for improved agentic testing.
•Develop stress-test scenarios and assess AI agent performance, producing detailed error analyses and evaluation criteria.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 60 - 80 hourly

Key Requirements

•At least four years of hands-on control testing experience in SOX compliance, internal audit, or internal controls, with direct responsibility for control design and testing.
•Broad experience across a range of control types, industries, and firms, with expertise in business process control testing.
•Ability to explain why a test step, exception, or conclusion passes or fails and translate that reasoning into clear evaluation criteria.
•Strong written reasoning to turn professional judgment into rules, edge cases, and review criteria.
•Comfort using AI tools, writing prompts, and working with agentic harnesses.
