Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and implement global-to-local merchandising strategies, coordinating with sales, retail, marketing, and sports marketing to meet local market needs.
  • •Manage product pricing, margins, and forecast per category; review purchase orders and indicate actions for the next season.
  • •Participate in global GTM processes and provide Japan-specific feedback on concept, design, and final assortments; request products as needed.
  • •Lead or contribute to local GTM planning, cross-functional team collaboration, and kick-off meetings to establish seasonal strategy and top-line targets.
  • •Support key account activities by accompanying negotiations, developing SMUs, and participating in business meetings to drive category performance.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in casual category merchandising with sports industry experience preferred
  • •High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • •Strong communication and presentation skills
  • •English level around TOEIC 600 (read/write) with willingness to improve; business level preferred
  • •Native Japanese language proficiency; strong critical thinking, problem solving, and results-oriented mindset
