Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical expertise in materials and corrosion, overseeing material selection, corrosion control, and integrity management.
  • •Conduct RBI, audit EPC contractor deliverables, and manage cathodic protection and coatings.
  • •Prepare and review Material Selection Diagrams (MSD), Material Selection Reports (MSR), and piping material specifications.
  • •Develop corrosion and integrity documentation (CMP, IOW) and perform corrosion modeling for site conditions.
  • •Ensure compliance with ASME, API (579, 571), BS 7910, DNV, and ADNOC standards; participate in technical reviews and troubleshoot site-specific corrosion issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • •Minimum 15+ years of experience in oil and gas upstream offshore, with experience from organizations such as Kent, KBR, Worley, Petrofac, and Saipem.
  • •Large-project experience with Middle East/GCC projects involving clients such as Saudi Aramco, QatarEnergy, PDO.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • •Detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards; ability to independently plan, organize, and coordinate complex problem-solving.
