Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage up to 6–8 market-facing underwriters focused on renewals and new account opportunities.
  • •Identify new growth opportunities with key distributors for areas of responsibility.
  • •Ensure accounts are qualified and align with the organization’s underwriting appetite while balancing business opportunities.
  • •Conduct planned agent/broker/customer and on-sight calls with supervised underwriters.
  • •Oversee negotiations of terms & conditions, close deals, drive cross-sell, and coach/mentor staff on sales best practices.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 200,000 - 285,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in Underwriting, Market Facing, Broker, Carrier, or Risk Management within commercial insurance OR a Bachelor’s degree with 20+ years in Claims or Underwriting Support within commercial insurance.
  • •Experience in the Energy Casualty business segment.
  • •2+ years of people management experience.
  • •Advanced knowledge of Energy Casualty product lines and the commercial insurance industry (preferred).
  • •Strong broker relationships in Energy Casualty (preferred).
