Key Responsibilities

  • •Proactively commission new books and new editions in Psychology areas (Psychology Research Methods, Introductory Psychology, Comparative Psychology).
  • •Manage the frontlist program of new manuscripts through production and publishing deadlines with editorial assistants.
  • •Meet annual commissioning and revenue goals aligned to market needs and publishing objectives.
  • •Attend virtual and in-person events across the UK or overseas to build subject knowledge and relationships with key contacts.
  • •Collaborate with authors and internal teams (digital, production, marketing, rights, sales) to develop and maintain list and team strategy while supporting revenue goals.
