Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide personal financial counseling and management services directly to service members and their families.
  • •Assist service members in establishing a spending plan for extended absences.
  • •Develops and makes available informational financial materials to service members and families.
  • •Coordinate, publicize and provide a wide variety of Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
  • •Utilize virtual counseling or other electronic modes of communication (web-based, secure online chat, video teleconferencing) as required by contract.

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required; may consider an associate degree plus 4 years' experience in lieu of bachelor’s OR high school diploma plus 6 years' experience in lieu of bachelor’s
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English; bilingual in English and Spanish may be required by contract
  • •Must have AFC, CFP, or ChFC certification
  • •Must be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation and pass OCI disclosures
